Clubhouse is a social audio app where users can communicate in audio chat rooms.
Clubhouse needed support with developing one of their first creative campaigns to introduce their latest (and highly-anticipated) feature, the DM (later referred to as the Backchannel). Within less than 6 weeks, we came up with an extensive campaign strategy, including video scripts, and completed the project.
We created a playful hero video script that reflected the brand personality and used the new button icon "the paper plane" to establish visual familiarity. We then created several use case video scripts showcasing the different ways people can use the newest feature.
The Hero video received 727,799 impressions, 54,922 media views, and 15,121 total engagements on Twitter. On Instagram, the video received 2,160 likes and 122 comments. The response from the community was very positive. People and influencers expressed their anticipations and excitement to have the ability to communicate within the app.
